TITLE: Event Planner & Designer
REPORTS TO: President, CEO/Owner
STATUS: Full Time

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for managing all aspects of Corporate Events, Social Events, Intimate Gatherings and Fundraisers; from initial inquiries to return of all items, working in association with Eventures’ Event Planners and Production Team. Additional responsibilities may include after-hours client meetings, site visits, event set up and strikes, measurement and diagram creation, etc. Responsibilities for development and promotion include obtaining new potential business and working alongside Eventures’ Marketing & Sales Staff to promote and further establish the company brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Events 
     Maintain Showroom Organization and Inventory
     Meet, Follow Up and Maintain Contact with Clients
     Create and Revise Quotes & Proposals
     Organize Client Pick Up and Returns, in association with the Planning and
     Production Team
     Support the event team in planning & logistics of events
     Engage in Brainstorming and/or Detail Meetings
     Facilitate Detail Meetings as Event Lead
     Manage Installations and Disassembly as Event Lead
     Assist with Installations and Disassembly as needed
     Manage and continually review loss prevention programs in association with
     Production Team
     Create Diagrams for both Client and Production Needs (Vivien)
     Master Inventory Software & Event Management Software (IntelliEvent Express
     & Planning Pod)

Development + Promotion 
     Recruit New Potential Customers, Generating more Growth for the Company
     Develop Blog Posts & Generate Social Media Ideas for assigned events
     Assist the Marketing & Sales Staff in developing Ad placement, concept &
     overall design

Operations + General Duties 
     Effectively Communicate with Supervisor & Owner on a Daily Basis
     Create Personal Goals to be accomplished on a Monthly & Yearly Basis
          Submit Personal Evaluation of Goal Status
     Field Office Phone Calls
     Maintain Office Integrity and Cleanliness
     Research new event trends, as well as new vendors
     Assist in maintaining company inventory and processing shipments

QUALIFICATIONS:
Four to Five Years of Experience in an Event Planning Position
     Note: This is not an entry level position.
Must be a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
Detail oriented multi-tasker capable of prioritizing many projects and effective time management.
Takes direction well and possesses the ability to follow through.
Analytical, problem-solving skills are a must.
Works well under pressure and strict time constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills required.
Proficient in Microsoft products including Word, Outlook, Windows, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites. Develop proficiency of trade software including IntelliEvent Express and Vivien.
Flexibility in work schedule including days, evenings and weekends. Event schedule and Management dictates working hours.
Must possess valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
Must be in good physical shape and able to walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality both of Eventures and Event
